A Reliable Device
The Nest doorbell works flawlessly. It requires a doorbell transformer putting out at least 16 watts. Mine was 10 watts so I replaced it with one rated for 16 watts but it actually reads 20 watts on a multimeter so so much the better.

Nest is the best
With deliveries, unexpected visitors and solicitors, Nest Hello is an extra set of eyes whether we are home or not. Plus with having a disabled spouse, he can see who's at the door and respond as needed. I wish I would have purchased one sooner.

Nest Hello Doorbell
This is a great item. Especially when integrated with other Nest and Google products in your home. I do wish it could sound a noise at unfamiliar people approaching your porch. But other wise it provides a wonderful amount of information of the surroundings of your property.

I've been thinking between Nest Hello and Ring. Given the fact that I also have Nest Thermostat and Nest Wifi and Google Home, decided to go with Nest Hello. I connected it to existing Chime in the house. I've also purchased Nest Aware subscription with it.I don't regret the decision and I will not look back. This camera does what it says, 30 days video history, face recognition, sound recognition, night time mode, wide angle camera, and you can even link it to Google Home app to announce persons at the doors. Make sure you use the same name of home on all your Google Home app, Nest Thermostat, and Nest Hello camera. You can also of course talk to the people at the door, I like it when we are away and somebody showed up at the door.I've got it for one month now, it's working flawlessly.

Fantastic

I previously had a Ring doorbell and all I had was terrible video quality. I had called their customer support and they told me it was my internet. Right after that my ring went offline. I decided to buy a nest doorbell. Why I hadn't bought this first was beyond me. The Nest doorbell is FANTASTIC! Perfect video and very nice app also. I linked it with all my other Google products and works great. I have and will continue to recommend the Nest doorbell over the Ring. Great job with the Nest Google Hello doorbell.

We LOVE Nest Hello--I expected it to be a fantastic and helpful device and it really is. The quality and coverage is truly impressive and the integration with alerts, etc. with the Nest/Home app makes it the best camera device we have (we have Nest outdoor cameras and they are good, but I think Hello is a better device).

The mighty doorbell
This doorbell was a breeze to replace. Due the age of our home we needed the power supply, however I was able to attach that to the doorbell lines that existed, removed the transformer and chime and poof it works like a champ! Since we have nest minis in the house it rings on those for me and our nest home hub shows me right away. All in all its a great integrated setup making it easy to use and work with in an old home.

What is the recommended Height for Door bell
My recommendation is: buy RING instead. Nest has no customer service email and the queue for the online chat is never working. This product goes “dead” the minute your free trail ends. There is no connectivity unless you pay to use it. The product does not standalone u have to pay for annual fee.
